Something exciting begins to happen when you are able to look at where you will be on the 10-day forecast. Apparently it is going to be in the mid 80s with a chance of thunderstorms, but I'm sure that will change in ten days.
For me there is definitely a sense of excitement. My wife, Jessica, is beginning to think about packing and what we can fit in the car. I am wrapping things up with putting the team together and getting information (and trying to get a couple more quality pitchers). Some players have wrapped up their seasons, but about half of them are still playing and hoping their college teams are playing the same weekend we are supposed to report!
Most Red Roosters will be reporting on Saturday the 24th by 5p.m. We will have some orientation and a light workout. On Sunday we will head to Lowe's Motor Speedway and help our with the race.
Only 16 more days until we open the season!
