Red Roosters Win Opener 6-3

We played a great game tonight to win the first game of the Tar Heel Summer Baseball League! We went up 6-0 and gave up 3 in the bottom of the eighth, but were able to hold on for the 6-3 win. I will try to post more info tomorrow. We had a lot of good things happen at the top of the lineup and Nick Chinners went 3 for 5 to lead the way. Jeff Bayse gave us a great start giving up just two hits in 5 and a third innings. Alex Loftin got the save.
