Red Roosters Beat Crowns

We beat the Charlotte Crowns 5-0 tonight. Dan Gross pitched a great game. He went eight innings allowing just two hits. Andrew Pooler finished the game and the shutout when he pitched the ninth. It seemed like we might roll after getting five in the second inning and batting around the order, but we had just two more hits the rest of the night and didn't score again. We play Charlotte on Wednesday at Pageland at 7p.m. EST. Tonight's win puts us at 11-3 and drops the Crowns to 2-8.
