We are officially on a losing streak. We have lost three in a row for the first time this season. Last night we lost Game 1 to the Monroe Channelcats by a score of 8-3. Game 2 was a thriller. It was scheduled to be a 7-inning game but ended up going to 11 innings. We scored one run in each of the first five innings, but couldn't come up with any more runs. We ended up losing in the bottom of the eleventh inning, 6-5. On a positive note, we hit the ball much better yesterday and are getting back to how we were playing earlier in the summer.
Hopefully I will be able to update stats and Players of the Games/Week tomorrow. Today we play two at Catawba Valley. We will playing at LP Frans Stadium, which is a minor league stadium in the Pittsburgh Pirates organization. Dan Gross will pitch Game 1 and Zach Deutscher will start Game 2.
