We lost to the Charlotte Crowns tonight. Mike Pagano pitched six innings allowing just two runs. We have been in quite a slump lately. We have scored just 14 runs in the last five games. I am confident we will get through it. This is always where I have struggled a bit. Slumps are usually mental challenges more so than physical. For the most part, players need to just keep going up there and swinging the bat the way they always have. Other than the hitting, we have been playing well. Our pitchers continue to pitch well and we had one error tonight, which is our first in a while.
We play two against Monroe on Friday at Monroe. The first game will start at 5 p.m. EST. Justin Lindsey will pitch Game 1 and Mario Sencion will pitch Game 2.
